Hi. My name is Rita! I'm the owner of White Rabbit Hair. I created this inclusive quiet hair salon as an alternative to the high energy busy salons we are used to seeing.
In a nutshell, what do you do?
At heart, I am a colour technician. I love all things colour, especially if it involves lifting the hair! I love creating bespoke and custom hair colors to be unique to the client.
How long have you been working in Digbeth?
I've been working in Digbeth for over 1 year now! I love being here because it's a creative hub for independent businesses of all kinds. I love to collaborate with my talented neighbours.
What makes your business so special?
White Rabbit Hair was created to become a safe, salm and incusilve space that is like a personal oasis in the city. You can work from home here, All appointments are one to one, and you can even sometimes meet my dogs!
What do you like most about working in Birmingham’s Creative Quarter?
I love being surrounded by other creatives, from other hairdressers, beauty therapists, makeup artists, photographers - Digbeth has everything!
Where do you normally go for lunch in B9?
I love getting slices of pizza from Baked in Brick and pastries from the Bakehouse!
Do you have a recommendation for the best thing to do in Digbeth outside of work?
My favourite place to visit is Red Brick Market! It has just about anything you could want to find.
What are you currently working on?
I'm working on curating a space that anyone can feel welcome and build my portfolio with creative hair!
